Confidentiality Policy

Last updated: January 2026.

Discretion is one of the pillars of HAUSS MARKET. Much of the value of our ecosystem lies precisely in the fact that information — projects, terms, investment profiles — circulates only among those who need to see it. This policy explains what we consider confidential information, and what is expected of every user who accesses it.

1. What we consider confidential information

  • The content of any opportunity, project or data room you access through the platform (financial, technical, legal or commercial documentation).
  • The contact and profile details of other investors or partners you access as part of a connection facilitated by HAUSS MARKET.
  • The specific terms of any ongoing transaction.

Information that is already public, or that you already knew independently before accessing it through the platform, is not considered confidential.

2. Your commitment when accessing this information

  • Use the information exclusively to evaluate your own investment or collaboration decision — for no other purpose.
  • Not share, copy or redistribute it to third parties without the express authorization of the relevant party.
  • Not use the information to contact a counterparty directly, outside the HAUSS MARKET process, or to compete unfairly with the project or opportunity.
  • Notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized access or a possible leak.

3. How we protect information on the platform

Access to each data room and profile is controlled — only what is strictly necessary is shared, with the right party, and in a traceable way. We never publish opportunities or profiles openly.

4. Duration of this obligation

The confidentiality obligations described in this policy remain in effect for as long as the information has not become public through means unrelated to a breach, and continue to apply even after you cease to be an active user of the platform.

5. Exceptions

We may disclose confidential information when required by law or by a competent authority, in each case limiting any such disclosure to what is strictly necessary.

6. Consequences of a breach

Misuse of confidential information may result in immediate suspension of your account and, depending on severity, may give rise to appropriate legal action. We take this as seriously as the rest of our curation standards.

7. Relationship with other documents

This policy complements our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, and forms an integral part of the platform's conditions of use.
